Jeffrey C. Jessup, O.D.

Dr. Jessup is a native of Owensboro, Kentucky and remains a Wildcat basketball fan. He attended Eastern Kentucky University where he competed as a varsity gymnast, and then Southern College of Optometry in Memphis where he completed his training in Optometry in 1982. After completing an externship at Mountain Home VA hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee, Dr. Jessup relocated to Bellevue and began a private practice serving the surrounding area. As the practice grew it has been relocated from Belle Forest Circle to the Bellevue Medical Center near Bank of America, then Williamsburg Office Park, and now in its present home at the Baptist Bellevue Medical Center, next to Wendy's on Highway 70S. Several years ago, Dr. Jessup started a second practice on Thompson Lane near Nolensville Road. The Thompson Lane practice with Dr. Erin Tatum at the helm, serves the Woodbine area with a completely bilingual (spanish/english) staff. Dr. Jessup is happily married to his lovely wife, Claudia, and is the proud father of two sons, Clay and Carter. He is also an avid motorcyclist, enjoys home projects, art, and is a private pilot.

Jennifer, in our frame dispensary, will help you select the perfect frame to accent your facial features and give you the "look" you've been searching for. She will help you choose from the newest designer lines, modern frame designs, and lens styles to suit your needs.

Contact Lenses

Have you tried contact lenses lately? If not, you will be surprised! There have been great advances in the contact lens area in the last several years. Lenses are available in practically every prescription and every color! Or maybe you want to switch to the "miracle" contacts that eliminate your need for glasses and contacts during waking hours...believe it or not, we have those, too! We'll make sure all of your contact lens needs are met.

Need to make an appointment? Just call our office and speak with Emily. Our business hours make it easy to work with your schedule, including two Saturdays every month.

A/P, Admin Manager

Ryan Pennington heads up our finance office, handles our accounts payable, oversees product and service quality and is Dr. Jessup's administrative manager.

Lab Tech/Electronic Claims

Clay manages our ophthalmic laboratory and handles electronic claims for both offices. Our lab may even be able to have your glasses completed the same day! Feel free to stop in anytime and have your glasses cleaned free of charge. We understand that because you may sometimes fall asleep while wearing their glasses or accidentally sit on them you may need an adjustment.
